Hello

Favourite Status Quo song
Slow Train, because of it's variation and the fantastic bass part

First Status Quo experience
In the sixties, in the psychedelic era. I discovered the new Quo when someone in the neighbourhood played Hello fo me. I'll never forget how I was blown away. WOW!

First Status Quo concert
That wasn't untill 1994 (shame shame!) in the Rijnhal in Arnhem. John and Alan were of course long gone by that time. But luckily I got to see my 4 heroes together on stage during the Frantic Four reunion tour. It got me the goosebumps!

Why are you in Status Quotes?
One word: passion! Status Quo was my number one band in the seventies. I must admit that after John and Alan left I also wandered of. It became all too poppy, commercial or overproduced to my taste. The last album I bought at that time was "If You Can't Stand The Heat", and I didn't really buy it because I thought it was so good, but I bought it because I always bought every record they would release. I think it's very cool to be playing with these 3 other dedicated musicians and Quo-fanatics and to keep the Frantic Four legacy alive!
